Vision and Mission

Vision:

We, SWRGDC Kalikiri, carry forward the idea of equitable development. Our students comprising from the socially weaker and economically backward sections of the society, we envision to create ripples of positive change and awareness through the students in their living environments thus driving new waves of development. ‘Vidyaya Shobate Nari’, meaning ‘Education adorns Women’. With imparted knowledge, ethics and standards, the students of this college shall excel in various walks of life, to build the image of the college and stand out as an inspiration. To enable compete and prepare the students to be self-reliant, economically independent and socially responsible individuals. As a Government institution dedicated to Education and Social Welfare, we aspire among our students, social change, progress, sense of equality and equity, confidence and capability.

Mission:

The only Social Welfare Residential Govt. Degree College in Rayalaseema of Andhra Pradesh, is a ‘for Girls’ institution, catering through its sprawling campus away from the urban hustle. Located in the outskirts of Kalikiri, an education hub with reputed and wellknown JNTUA Kalikiri Engineering College, a Sainik School, a Krishi Vigyan Kendra, a Govt. Polytechnic College and others. With enriching atmosphere consisting of modern buildings, playground, in-campus mess and hostel facilities and paved roads, the platform to enable safe, comfortable and a memorable campus life is at place. Free food, residence and education are provided to enable for a convenient and hassle-free education. Education at a government institution provides for and fosters holistic development in its students.This college facilitates its residential community integrated learning, engagement and development. Our mission is to empower students with knowledge, skills and values to make them able, responsible and confident. Through efficient classroom education, student interaction, e-learning and extra-curricular activities, the college strives to imbibe in students the qualities of discipline, creativity and excellence.
